Celebrating Success Leads to More Success: Win.app’s Celebration Retreat in Croatia

Duration

4 days

Attendees

44 teammates

Location

Šibenik, Croatia

Celebrate success, bond as a team, keep it 100% fun

After Win.app’s success, a quiet dinner just wouldn’t do. They needed a serious celebration.

And the one absolute rule? 100% NO work.

Win.app — a blockchain-powered gaming platform — helps players and studios connect through fair, competitive games that make a positive impact.

So, forty-four teammates headed to Šibenik, Croatia.
Not to brainstorm KPIs. Oh no.
But to
treasure hunt through cobblestone streets, kayak along the coastline, and dance until sunrise.

Bonding you can’t replicate in the office.

The Vision: Four Days, No Agendas

Not a single meeting.

The one non-negotiable was clear: no work.
No slides. No breakouts. No strategy sessions.

Most companies mix “fun” with workshops.
But not Win.app. Their mission: pure connection and celebration.

And we loved that — because our mantra is simple: 👉 One retreat. One objective.

The Brief

Win.app’s previous retreat in Romania hadn’t hit the mark.

“It felt too small, with very few team-building activities. This time was completely different.”
-Radu V., Head of Business Development & Acquisition

So, after that disappointment, they came to us.
Within 30 minutes on a call, the brief was clear:

  • 4 days of adventure, connection, and celebration
  • Zero work agendas

Croatia as the perfect destination.

New  Challenge: Planning a Retreat That’s All Play, No Work

Sounds easy, right? It’s not. Designing a “fun-only” retreat can go sideways quickly.

Here’s what we had to avoid:

  • Chaos: A party too soon and you lose the next two days to hangovers.
  • Boredom: Overpacked schedules or forced cultural tours.
  • Fake fun: Synthetic smiles and tired team-building clichés.

The goal?
➡️ Four days that felt spontaneous yet structured — choice without chaos.

The OnsiteHub Approach

Day 1 — Choice Without Chaos

Day 1 kicked off with a split program:

  • Treasure Hunt: Teams explored Šibenik’s UNESCO-listed old town, solving clues and discovering local history.
  • Kayaking or E-biking: Active options along the coast for adrenaline and fresh air.
The treasure hunt, kayaking, e-biking—people loved them. I got to know teammates on a personal level—things I’d never have discovered otherwise.

Lunch: Local wine and food at Testament Winery, home of Croatia’s native Babić grape.

Evening: Seaside dinner and drinks in the Old City — relaxed fun before the tempo rose.

Day 2 — Island Escapes & Nightlife

  • Private Boat Tour: Kornati National Park, swimming, sun, and onboard lunch.
  • Evening: Private BBQ + DJ set at D-Resort Yacht Club.
  • Optional: Local club for those still dancing at 2 AM.

Behind the Scenes: Smooth Planning

“The itinerary was planned months in advance, with all activities and restaurant menus laid out so everyone could easily choose what suited them best. Their organizational skills were outstanding.”
-Radu V., Head of Business Development & Acquisition

We’re big advocates for early planning — start in fall if you can.

From that first call to the last dance, we’re boots on the ground, at your service.

From start to finish, they were on top of everything. Honestly, I can only send my best regards to Kruno and Iva for the way they supported us."
Radu V.
Head of Business Development & Acquisition

The Outcome: Bonded by Fun

“It’s incredible how the activities Kruno and Iva proposed helped us connect as a team. For us at Win.app, it was a perfect match—100%.”

Win.app left Croatia recharged and connected — no KPIs, no decks, just genuine human connection over sea, wine, and laughter.

“My advice? Don’t wait. Kruno responded within 20–30 minutes, we scheduled a call the next day, and within a week everything was set. It was that easy.”

The BIG Takeaway

Their words, not ours:

Kruno responded within 20 or 30 minutes, we scheduled a call the next day, and within a week everything was set."

That’s how easy it should feel.

If you’re already picturing your team kayaking, dancing, or laughing somewhere warm — don’t wait.
